LÓREAL exfoliating gel and detox gel review

Everyone has heard of facemasks, right?

Because it's all I've heard of all summer 👀

I'm not sure why but at the moment I'd say facemasks are in the top ten most popular things of 2018.

So as the trendsetter I am (wink wink) I decided to dive into this trend and try it out.
The first thing that I have to say about these facemasks is that I like the smell and the fact that my face feels incredibly smooth, especially after using the black one.

You're probably supposed to use these every day or every night before you go to bed.

I, the, rebel only used them about twice a week if that.
They lasted me a year between the two and I'm pretty impressed they lasted that long, to be honest.

They've been squeezed dry, my skin has cleared up quite a bit. Definitely will be repurchasing soon.

I want to hear what you guys think.
Are you a fan of facemasks?
Do yu use them religiosly?
Have you tried these ones?
Did they work for you?

I'll be checking the comment section😘

Making friends as an adult- Huggle app

Who remembers the days when we could just run up to somebody and say ''tag you're it!'' and you'd instantly be friends chasing after each other, playing games, causing havoc wherever you went with each other?

I do.

Making friends as an adult isn't that easy, as an adult we can probably count how many friends we have on one hand.
In preschool, or kindergarten or whatever you want to call it, I was making new friends everyday.
As I got older I, and I think all of us must do this at some point, I started to distance myself from certain people or my friends had to move abroad and we lost contact.

Now I'm going to be moving, not abroad but still, to a place where I only know one person.

I've been offered to try a new app that should make it easier to meet new people, and being as shy and antisocial as I am, I appreciate the help or the push to be introduced to new people. (Plus, social media is becoming more and more of a way of life, a way of socializing)

Starting Tuesday I'm going to be using the app to see if it really works and report back on my results. In the meantime I'm going to tell you a little bit about the app itself.

The app isn't intended for dating, (like most meeting or social apps that are advertised do), Huggle is intended for you to be able to make new friends or meet new people through the places you visit throughout each day.

I need all the socialization (help!) I can get because I am going to feel very lost, living in a city ,on my own , for the first time ever, and as I said before I only know one person in this big big place. (It might not seem big to some people but it does to me) Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

  • How does it work?

  1. Click on the app and the loading screen appears, it doesn't take long to load which impressed me because many times I have spent more than 3 minutes staring at a loading screen.

2. Next step, logging in to as much social media as possible.

The app needs to access your videos and photos and location.

3. Once you've turned on your location, you will get notifications from the app, asking you if you were at any of these places, and showing you other people that were or are at this exact place.

4. You can access their profile (I've decided to show you mine because I don't want to get in trouble for sharing a strangers profile). The profile will be able to tell you what age the person is,the place in common that you have, their current location, and the languages they speak and there's even a little about me section if they decide to fill it in. You can either decide to send this person a wink or a message.

I have already connected with another blogger! Although the place that we have in common is in the island I've just moved away from haha.

Throughout the course of two weeks or so, I've tried to connect with other bloggers but he is the only one that has replied, and even then it was a brief conversation of hello and how are you.

Overall, I think I'm going to struggle with this app but I will try and persevere, the good thing about it is that it makes you more aware of your surroundings, asking if you were at a certain place at a certain date and time.
If you're in a new place, like myself, this helps because you start to remember the names of bars and restaurants etc and it makes you more aware of your surroundings.

I'm going to keep using this app and see if I manage to lose my shyness.
Do you think I will be able to loosen up with people?

Until then I bid you farewell my lovelies!

What our lives would be like if Donald Trump was elected

I am not an American.
I don't and have never lived in America.
So why should I care about the US elections or who runs for president?
Because anything America does, affects the rest of us.

Take Obama for example, whether you like him or not, he changed the world.

He managed to end $2 trillion war in Iraq, saving countless lives, both military and civilian, and eliminating U.S. involvement in a conflict that was a virtual recruitment and training center for international terrorists.
Through federal loans, he helped turn around the U.S. auto industry, which has saved and added thousands of jobs worldwide.
He reversed Bush's torture policies (aka, "enhanced interrogation"), which had been setting a dangerous precedent for legitimizing torture in other countries.
He has decimated al Qaeda's international leadership, by hunting down and eliminating Osama bin Laden, as well as many other important leaders of the terrorist organization… all without starting another war or endangering our troops.
Obama has also tremendously improved America’s image abroad. With new policies, diplomacy, and rhetoric, he has reversed a sharp decline in world opinion toward the U.S. (and the corresponding loss of “soft power”) during the Bush years.

Do you really think this man can live up to ''making america great again''

A man that is proud to be racist and homophobic.
Sound like anybody we've heard of before?

There are even a couple of websites that arue that he is worse than Hitler.
WORSE THAN HITLER
If you want to read some of the comparisons click here

He may be up against Hilary Clinton, which isn't everybody's favorite, and it has recently been revealed that she rigged certain elections and such, I don't know all the details but my point is, whatever she's done or she's said to try and beat Trump is for the best.

What Trump plans to do is:
  • Build a wall .
  • Make south america pay for the wall.
  • Detain anyone that tries to cross this wall.
  • Enhanced penalties for overstaying a visa- so if I'm offered a job in USA I'll be punished?
  • End birthright citizenship- ???
  • Put American workers first- if someone non American has studied more or worked harder than a US citizen, they'll still give the American citizen a job first because that's part of making America great again? Instead of giving someone that has studied and worked hard for the job??
P.S- All of his plans are on his website if you think I'm making this up.

Like I said, I'm not American, but these plans will affect everyone if he puts them in place.Honesty I think he's laughing in his big boy seat right now thinking of even more ridiculous things to say and see how many idiots agree with him.

Because that's what you are if you vote for this racist bastard.
An idiot.

Day 3 going to Yorkshire and attending a movie premier!

Hello!
I'm still in the UK so I thought I'd tell you what I've been up to.

I woke up in Edinburgh and went to bed in Yorkshire. A four hour drive to get there, we stayed at the Leeming Wells hotel

Not bad. I had a whole room to myself while my dad and brother shared a two bedroom right next door to me. Not bad indeed.

We then drove down to a chapel in a small village to watch the premier of the movie Mountain Biking, The Untold British Story.  We got comfy and sat down with our curry's.

My dad played a big part in Mountain Bike history and he is interviewed in the film!

He started up the first successful mountain bike company Muddy Fox, it has since changed ownership a few times I'm guessing!
But still does mountain bikes and is going strong!
The film talks about the beginning of the mountain bike era and how far it's come, and the competitive side of the industry.
By the end of it I was near tears, and ready to jump on my bike and explore the world.

I thought my dad was going to drag me to this boring documentary thing about bikes. UGH.
But it turned out I was wrong, the film is not only interesting but emotional and funny. It leaves you wanting more.
Also there were goodies bags! This makes me feel like I'm prepared for a big adventure with my bike now, I'll be fully equipped.

My view-Adidas Running Mana Bounce

Hello!
I bought these not long ago and I'm so happy with them.
They were 50 euros, on sale, honestly I'm not one for splashing money on shoes so this was a real risk for me. They're so good (and I love the pink)
For some reason i can't find these exact shoes on the Adidas site but the other models are priced around 80 euros.

''Uncover the mysterious powers of the dynamic plush in the Adidas Mana Bounce W running shoe. ; Predecessor: None. ; Support Type: Neutral. ; Cushioning: High energizing cushioning. ; Surface: Road. ; Differential: 11 mm. ; Knit mesh upper with seamless synthetic overlays. ; Lace-up closure. ; Lightly padded tongue and collar. ; Soft fabric lining. ; Molded foam insole. ; BOUNCE midsole provides energizing comfort. ; Rubber outsole. ; Anatomically-placed flex grooves boost flexibility for a more natural feel. ; Imported. I plan on wearing these everyday, although, they are running shoes, I am not one for running. But I do plan on doing more excersize and moving about more often, somewhere in the near future hopefully!
They give really good support, have just the right amount of padding and aren't made of flimsy material on the exterial.
I'll be using these to walk around the island, go on epic bike rides, and for work!
I'm in love with them and I'd recommend buying a pair even if you're not the sporty type ( I know I'm not haha )

I hope I was helpfull to someone in someway, it is currently 3 am and I think I'll be off to bed in a minute.

GOODNIGHT LOVELIES!

Day 1 in Edinburgh

I'm here!

We checked in at 12:15 and took off around 12:45. I'm traveling with my brother and my dad.
We landed around 5:30, we were 20 minutes early. I was expecting it to be bucketing it down, but it wasn't. It was cold but that was about it. I was surprised.
Got a cab to this apart-hotel my dad booked , checked in , settled down for a bit and went out in search for food! I was STARVING!

I saw this in a cute little candle shop

 The library is massive!

We wondered into this street and found loads of little pubs and restaurants. We had a long walk along this street and finally decided to eat in Maxies Bistro I decided to go for the chicken wrap with sweet chili sauce, guacamole and cream cheese.

YUMMMM! I'm not usually a fan of spicy things but this was delish! My mouth is still mildly burning, and it was totally worth it.
The wrap is filled with thin chicken slices, read and yellow peppers, and all sorts of veg, it comes with a pot of cream cheese and a blob of guacamole and some salad, not only did it do the job but I loved it.
Maxies Bistro is a family run establishment located just below the Castle near the top of the Royal
Mile. A little pricey in my opinion but excellent food.
I'm in the apartment now, resting and about to go to bed!
I'll keep you updated!
Tune in tomorrow to find out what I'm up to!

Numbers Challenge!

10-The years I've known my best friend Tash. We met in an Irish bar, as all 8 and 11 year olds do.
It was the bars anniversary and she'd asked me to get her a balloon, because she's that short.

9-Birthdays before I reached double figures.
8- Family members

7-  The age I was when I decided to take up ballet and modern dance.

I was a cool kid, I'm sure you can tell.

6.Years in singing lessons

5. Bike Rides with Tash this summer, so far. Because we didn't have the time or energy to do more.

4.Years old when I met my other best friend Edurne.

3.Years old when my brother was born.

2. Boyfriends

1.Cousin

This was really fun to do! I didn't really know where I was going with this at first but I thought this would be a good way to look at the number of things that have happened and that I've done in my life.
If you're reading this and you feel up to the task I challenge you to name 10 things that have happened, that you've done or that are important to you in your life.
Go! Go! GO!!
Leave a link in the comments so I can check yours out as well.
