Whats in my make-up bag | Guest Post

Feyi and I decided to guest post on each others blogs for a change and we decided to let you have a sneek peek into our make up bags.

I prefer to select my products directly from my makeup collection, but on the odd occasion that I use a makeup bag it usually holds the products I've applied that day. So here's a sneak peak inside my makeup bag and a fotd (face of the day) thrown in for good measure.
                                       
My makeup bag was a gift from a family member who visited Paris. It's quite compact but surprisingly holds a lot more than you would think!
                                     
The Face: For my foundation I'm wearing the Lancôme Tine Idol Ultra foundation in the shade 12 (my review - https://youtu.be/fzJgdA5xUCY). This a medium to full coverage foundation which provides a natural finish. I also powdered my face using the Mac Mineralized Skinfinish in deep dark. I also applied the NYX blush in the shade cinnamon to my cheeks.

The Eyes: Before applying my eyeshadow I used the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in original. This is seriously the best eyeshadow primer I've tried, it helps to make your eye makeup stay in place all day. I then added a combination of Factory and Mugshot from the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. I kept my eyebrows simple by filling them in with the Maybelline Brow drama, which is like mascara for your eyebrows. To finish the eye look I applied a few coats of the Urban Decay Perversion mascara.

The Lips: On my lips I'm wearing my all-time favourite lipstick from No7 in the shade sugar plum. It's a "my lips but better" type of shade and a lovely moisturising finish. This is often my go-to lipstick as it goes with almost every look.

 I've said it before, I'm not a make up addict kind of girl, but every now and again I say why not?

So I bought an eye shadow palette.

What is Guest Blogging?

Ok, so as some of you may know I'm preetty new to the blogging world, and one day it was suggested to me that I write a guest post to increase my traffic, and obvs I said what? what is guest blogging? so heres a little resume of what it all is and hopefully it helps some of you.

Guest blogging is a method used by bloggers to increase blog traffic where bloggers write posts to be published on other bloggers' blogs. Guest blogging can work in one of two ways:

• You write a post to appear on another person's blog.
• Another person writes a post to appear on your blog.

Guest blogging is used by bloggers as a way to network with other people within the blogosphere, grow relationships with other blog readers, and increase traffic for their own blogs. There are two primary types of guest blogging:

• Guest blogging on your own blog: When someone writes a post for you to publish on your own blog. That blogger will typically contact you and ask to provide a guest post to you, or you can contact a blogger you like and request a guest post.
• Guest blogging on someone else's blog: When you write a guest post to be published on another blogger's blog. Typically, you contact a blogger whose blog you enjoy and ask if you can provide a guest post contribution.

Whichever way you participate in guest posting is effective in terms of growing the audience for your blog.

I am an inspiration

The title sounds so arrogant, but I am an inspiration, can't be helped.

I've been moaning to my friend to start a blog of her own, because I know she reads my blog posts, (Hello!) and I know she really likes writing stuff as much as I do and after weeks of going on about how much fun I'm having writing these posts, she's decided to get on board.
