Fashion-1960's vs now

The 1960's was definitely a decade that broke fashion tradition.
With the Beatles making exciting never before heard music, all sorts of traditions were being broken, not to mention, history was in the making!

They can't compare to any modern boy band, don't you dare suggest one direction!

People started dressing in brighter clothes, mismatched patterns

It just so happens that this is fashionable again!

False eyelashes became a fashion statement

Guess what all the beauty bloggers and fashion icons wear today...?

The pillbox hat

Today we've got royalty wearing this bad boy!

OOOH LA LA the mini skirt was a fashion revolution, girls wearing mini skirts were causing car crashes because the skirts were so distracting!

Nearly everyone owns one these days and now a days it won't cause any car accidents, but apparently it's still distracting for certain people, Pshhh

What goes around comes back around, the 60's are back!

Google Nexus 5 X

Guess what I got whilst in the UK.....

                                                           A new phone!

Capturing the soul of the Nexus family, the 5X offers top-line performance in a compact, lightweight device that's ready to go anywhere, anytime. Beneath the 5.2-inch display is a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor for world-class speed at an affordable price.

The best all-around camera  ever put into a Nexus shines in low-light conditions. Its larger 1.55μm pixels capture more light even in the dimmest conditions to produce stunning details and sharp images.

Nexus is quicker and more secure with a fingerprint sensor. Placed on the back of your device to complement the way you naturally hold it, Nexus Imprint will turn on your screen with one touch, unlock your apps quickly and easily, and let you breeze through checkout lines with Android Pay. And, by incorporating measurements each time you use it, Nexus Imprint gets smarter with every touch.

Nexus uses USB-C

The USB Type-C charger is reversible, which means no more guessing which way is up. And it's fast—get almost four hours of use after only ten minutes of charging.
I did not know this.
I like to have two chargers for my phone, one to have in a spot always and one o take to work and trips and stuff. But because this type of USB is fairly new it is hard to get, especially on my little island.
It is so similar to the nexus 5.
